A global population growing at the rate of 83 million a year means that we will eventually run out of arable land for growing the crops we need to feed the world—after having cut down a majority of the world’s forests—and completely deplete fish stocks in the world’s oceans. Most probably sooner rather than later.
By preserving as much of nature as we can today, we not only protect wildlife and natural, finite resources, but also live up to our responsibility towards future generations.
We need to produce more food, let it be cereal or protein, with less land and less water. And we must ease the burden on our oceans. Evonik Animal Nutrition may not have all the answers, but we are committed to being part of the solution. We are proud that this is already the case.
